Betty Ford Steps Down as Rehab Head

Former first lady Betty Ford has stepped down as the chairman of the board of directors for the alcohol and drug rehab center that bears her name and will hand over the reins to her daughter, Susan Ford Bales. Ford will remain on the board of the Betty Ford Center, perhaps the best known treatment facility in the world. It was founded in 1982.
