Legal Drinking Age of 21 Saves Lives

As several states contemplate reducing the legal drinking age to 18, a new research study has found that the higher minimum drinking age of 21 has saved thousands of lives since it was passed by all 50 states in 1988. By 1995, the number of alcohol-related fatalities for young adults age 15 and older had dropped from 4,187 per year to 2,212. Read more...
