There are many books about alcoholism, addiction, recovery and various drugs of abuse that have helped many gain a better understanding of substance abuse and the nature of addiction.

I’d like to suggest another book. It is purposefully short (less than 120 pages) and is especially helpful for the family members of those whose loved one drinks too much. Additionally, it will help the person who has a problem with drinking understand the disease of alcoholism and the condition of alcohol abuse.
It’s called “If You Love Me, You’d Stop! What You Really Need To Know When Your Loved One Drinks Too Much. I am the author - Lisa Frederiksen, and it’s available through amazon.com and all other major online book seller websites.
