ive decided to quit drinking to get my drivers licence back.
I agree people usually quit for negative reasons but the first time i quit was curiosity. I wanted to know how difficult it would be to stop for one month.I did it and it was o k but i new i would start again when the month was up. That was a long while ago and on march 18th 2011 i had a massive fit due to alcohol withdrawal and discovered that i had liver damage. I have not had a drink since and although i get urges now and again my life has been transformed and my only regret is that i started again after that one month i had alcohol free. For me being sober is total freedom and it is bliss.
I feel that alcohol will cause a lot of destruction to the body. Liver damage, Dementia, High Blood Pressure, and etc.
