Barret Robbins Charged With Attempted Murder

Former Oakland Raiders' center Barret Robbins remains unconscious and in critical condition in a Miami hospital, where he has undergone several surgeries to repair internal damage from being shot in the chest while fighting with three police officers who found him hiding in a women's bathroom in South Beach. Robbins, whose battles with bipolar disorder, alcoholism and depression are well known, was charged with attempted murder, resisting arrest, trespassing and attempting to deprive a police officer of protection in connection with the incident in a South Beach office building.
