Unfortunately, alcoholism has a way of harming a number of people besides the alcoholic. Research has shown that adult children of alcoholics do in fact manifest a number of identifiable characteristics and that with insight, education, and perhaps with counseling, these individuals can indeed learn how to manage their lives in a more productive and healthy manner. Obviously, there’s a great need for relevant and informative books such as the one described above.
