Court-Mandated A.A. - The Seed Planted

I know more than one person who is sober many years after being forced into the program by the courts.

Drunk Driving The Dangers The penalties and the consequences of driving while intoxicated.

We have had several men court ordered to our Recovery House, who if nothing else have had the seed planted. The majority of them have been able to put substancial days together after being there a month or two. Each and every one who has gone out to do some more research after the sentance was up has come back to our house or another one and some are sober today.

Like most of us know, if you stick around long enough, you can't help but hear something.

I have never considered it a waste of time. If only one person gets it, it is not a mistake. How are we to tell which one of the many people sent is the one who is going to get it.

My sponsor says he only needs one meeting a week, and he has to go to one everyday, cause he doesn't know which one it is. LOL
