People involved in the use of illicit drugs tend to talk in code, using different names for their drug of choice, so that eavesdroppers won't know what they are talking about.

The Office of National Drug Control Policy has compiled a database of more than 2,300 street terms that refer to specific drug types or drug activity. Here is an index of pages containing some of those terms:
