Visitors to the About.com Alcoholism Forum were asked to share their personal experiences in maintaining sobriety during the holiday season. Their replies provide helpful tips for those who may be struggling to stay clean and sober through the temptations of the holidays.

BJ's Holiday Tip

In my early years of sobriety I would hang out at the 24-hour AA group. Today I still do that so that I might be there for someone else who was having problems staying sober during the Holiday Season.

I have found that hanging with sober people during this time of year is the best thing I can do and today I enjoy doing it. Thanks for asking my input.
