John's Holiday Tip

Hello, I am John, I am an alcoholic and an addict.

God is good! I deal with the holidays by planning ahead. I stay inside and communicate with the elders and the kids and I do not let anything keep from doing this. I will not leave the yard. I will not go to the store -- we people disappear, you know?

I don't go looking for them. I try to stay busy and let people know how I feel about me and alcohol and drugs. I am real careful about remembering the following statement: "Be careful what you let your eyes see and your ears hear, because we control a lot of things we see and hear."
