If you find plants around your home that look similar to the marijuana plant in the photo, someone in your household is trying to grow their own weed.
2. Leaves on a Marijuana Plant
If you see plants like this growing around your home, chances are they did not just pop-up in the wild - they were purposely cultivated.
3. Chopped Up Marijuana Plant
This is what a marijuana plant looks like after it has been dried and chopped up. In this photo, the stems have not yet been removed.
4. Marijuana Joints
If your child is using marijuana, this is most likely the form that you might find it in if you discover it in your home - two rolled-up, ready-to-smoke marijuana cigarettes or joints.
5. Small Amount of Marijuana Ready for Sale
This is also a form in which parents might find around the house if their children are smoking marijuana. This a relatively small amount of marijuana and probably readily available in your community.
6. Plastic Bag Full of Marijuana
This is another way parents might find marijuana - in plastic zip-lock type bags. This is a large bag and a large amount of pot. You might find smaller plastic bags with residue inside.
7. Marijuana Bud
This picture shows what is known as a marijuana bud. If you find marijuana in your home that looks like this, it is probably much more potent that the average street-grade weed.

This is an extreme close-up photograph of a marijuana bud, showing the fine "hairs" and leaves that make up the bud after it is dried.
9. Processed Marijuana Buds
This picture shows several processed marijuana buds. If you find this much marijuana in your home, someone either has an expensive habit or they are selling weed to their friends.
10. Indoor Marijuana Grow Operation
If you see this many marijuana plants growing indoors, you have stumbled upon a major indoor marijuana grow operation. Leave the scene immediately and call 9-1-1.
