Mission Statement:
Sobriety House is a non-profit, 12-step-based recovery house for women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, providing a safe and loving supervised environment where women will learn to cope without the use of drugs and alcohol.
Objectives:
Our goal is to provide a drug and alcohol free environment to help facilitate our residential graduates in becoming self-sufficient productive members of society. We place emphasis on rehabilitation, education and re-unifying families through our structured environment.
Requirements:
Residents will be required to attend parenting classes, AA meetings, support groups, and all other in-house meetings. Residents will also be required to attend 90 AA/NA meetings in 90 days. They will be responsible for cooking, cleaning and general upkeep of residence. Residents are required to have employment at the end of one week. Our curfew is strictly enforced along with a zero tolerance of alcohol and drug use.
Acceptance:
Potential residents are screened, interviewed and assessed for acceptance into The Sobriety House. Upon acceptance the residents will receive a program outline of rules, responsibilities, guidelines and requirements. They will also receive a list of items to bring and items which are prohibited.
Length of Program:
Sobriety House has a minimum required stay of 6 months and maximum of 12 months.
